Fall 2009

I would NEVER choose to relive this semester. The first few weeks were terrible. Life didn't go as planned and I needed a little more time to adjust to them before I had to jump into the school year.

I was attempting to take 18 credits and work about 30 hours a week. 12 of those 18 credits were history classes and I needed to read about 1000 or more pages a week...which is literally impossible to do! Trust me I tried it. I started my job as an American Heritage TA. I loved doing it (and still love doing it) but it took a lot out of me at first. I ended up dropping my science classes and just taking the history ones.

I survived this semester because of an occasional London movie night (girls from London get together watch a movie) and because of my roommate Rebecca Langham. At the time she was preparing to go on a mission. (She is currently in Milan, Italy) She was initially just going to leave for her mission in the summer. However, she decided to come back for one more semester. Little did she know that she moved back because I was going to need her. Our apartment also learned the music video dance to a song by Ok Go. We preformed it for the talent show.

The last week of school I had three ten page papers to write and about 80 papers to grade. It was an intense week.....I was so glad it was over.

Another one of my good friends Emily Finely (Smith) got married at the end of the semester. I was glad that I was able to be there at the wedding. Then I flew home for Christmas :)
