Winter 2010

Well I was very scared for this semester, but it turned out to be one of my best semesters at BYU. Rebecca and Katie moved out of my apartment and I was very sad about that. However, I got a new roomate Sarah Kelsey who was amazing. I got really involved in my ward and had tons of fun. There were little adventures all semester with people in my ward but especially Allen and Mandy. There were more London movie nights and hang outs with Ashley. Lunches where I caught up with Amie Purles. The apartment was always full with lots of people. Three of the five girls were dating someone, including myself. We did lots of fun things together going to the Hunger Banquet, BYU symphony, stuyding, watching movies, and making Sunday dinner together. Also when our apartment introduced ourselves to the ward we made up a really cool rap. My FHE family was the best. We had good time with our brothers.

Rebecca came to Provo before she left for the MTC. Ashely and I got to drop her off.

My sister also came and visited me. She didn't bring her boys but we had a fun Valentine's Day weekend together. We both got new hair cuts and just enjoyed being together.

I forgot to mention in the craziness of last semester that I was actually accepted into the history teaching program. This semester I started taking my teaching classes. While they were not difficult they were very time consuming. I loved being a TA again and it was a little easier because I had already done it.

On the last day of finals I found out that I got a job with the JFK Birthplace in Brookline Massachusetts. My sister and her husband graciously said they would let me live with them for free so I could save some money. I anticipated coming out to Boston in mid May.

At the end of the semester, Ashely Probst and I headed to San Fransisco for her graduation road trip. We had a lot of fun going to the beach and walking around San Fran. We meet some crazy people on our trip. An old women who was policing the wharf, a guy that wanted me to fly his kite, and a little girl who discovered fish for the first time. We had lots of fun shopping for rings and sun glasses. On the way home we drove through a rain, wind, snow, and dust storm. It was a really crazy day but a very relaxing trip. We both needed it. Thanks for having me along Ashley! The next day I woke up and drove from Utah to Arizona with Von.
