Once I got to BYU I was sure what to major in and I was really worried about it because I was about to finish my junior year. Jeffrey R. Holland gave an amazing talk called "Remember Lot's Wife." And it made me feel so much better. I took a lot of introductory history courses. By the end of the semester I declared myself a history teaching major and applied to be an American Heritage TA. I got the job but still needed a few more classes to get into my major. In the meantime, I moved back into my old apartment. Emily and Katie were still there. My roommate Jess Elsworth moved about because she would be leaving on a mission in a few months. She came a visited us before she left. As I said earlier she will be home soon. I had three new roommates Alex, Tiana, and Hannah. Tiana and Hannah were artists so our apartment always had lots of creations around. Alex was majoring in Communication Disorders my old major. I loved hanging out with all of them. Katie and I shared a room. She kept the Christmas lights up in our room all year long and they never turned off. I remember spending really long nights in the library with Emily writing papers. We also made her an amazing birthday cake!! One night we got bored so we danced around in the library. I also hung out with my friends from London especially Rebecca Langham, Rhett Whimmer, and Alex Black. We had econ together with Grandpa Whimmer from London. Rhett was his grandson so we went over to Grandpa Whimmer's house a lot to get some extra help and eat good food. We had a general conference awards night where we saw how well we all paid attention at general conference. Our apartment also threw a really fun party toward the end of the semester and we loved to have random dance parties.
At the end of the semester, my dad came and helped me pack up and then I flew home to work at summer camp for the summer.
