After being home for a few weeks I decided that I would take my park ranger job in Boston. It turned out to be a great idea because Von, Mom, and Brooke came out for a visit a few weeks later. We decided that it was time to take some family photos.
The above picture is my favorite because Von is actually smiling! He is smiling because he is poking me. We did get a few photos with David and Will but it was difficult.
This last picture melts my heart. Von is never the center of attention, but you can often find him on the sidelines cheering someone up or giving advice. With lots of girls in the house he gets to do this lots!

I love the family pics! It's so true- my dad hardly smiles in pictures either! Must be a McLain boy thing... What a good lookin group! :)
