Last week I was able to go see some more historic sites. I went to Kings Chapel where John Winthrop was buried. This is going to be great for American Heritage!!! Also buried there is the character the Nathaniel Hawthorne bases the book the Scarlet Letter off of. After that I headed down to the Old South Meeting House where Sam Adams gave a speech before the Sons of Liberty headed off to dump tea in the ocean.

After that then I went to the Old State House. Outside the Old State House is where the Boston Massacre took place, inside there is now a museum. You can see some of the tea that was dumped into the ocean and John Hancock clothes.

Then I met Deidre and the boys at the new State House, where we took a tour of the place. However, there were many stairs and that was a problem with the double stroller. Thus Deidre and I had a lot of fun caring the stroller up the stairs. Once we got up to go through the security, the guard kindly told us of the handicap entrance.
