Today I headed back to the city to take a tour of part of the Freedom Trail. This Trail is about 2.5 miles long and takes you through most of the important historical landmarks. My tour guide dressed in costume, gave me a few insights that I didn't know about the founding of Boston. He then took us to the cemetery where Samuel Adams, John Hancock, Paul Revere, and a few singers of the Declaration of Independence were buried. This history nerd was in 7th heaven. He also showed us the site of the Boston Massacre. Its right in the middle of the of an intersection, slightly anti-climatic but still very exciting. Then we went to the Old Southern Meeting House where the Sons of liberty left a meeting to dump tea into the water. There was a British couple in our group, so it made the tour even more interesting. The tour ended about half-way into the Freedom Trail at Fanueil Hall. I plan on doing the walk altogether once I have visited all the sites.

After my trip there I headed to the Prudential Center. The weather was perfect outside because it was very sunny. I was able to see so much of the city from the top. I got a little lost getting there. I walked all the way around the skyscraper, before I found it. And then they just let you go up the elevator by yourself but no one told me what floor to get off on. I felt pretty dumb, but I found the skywalk eventually. Looking out at the city was great because I got to really orient myself. The city has the same feel as London, but on a smaller scale which is nice. I already feel like I can walk to different places there I don't just need to use the T. However, the tube in London is much better than the T.
