I went to my ward for the first time today. I really enjoyed it. Getting there was a little difficult; I think we had to do everything twice before we actually got it right. The Relief Society president was really nice and welcoming. I have been put in with the Young Women and I'm really excited about that. The Young Women's president was called last week and she is only twenty-one. She spent a summer semester at BYU.
The bishop also found out I have play the piano and then he was really excited. It was a missonary couples' last day today so they have a munch and mingle afterwards. It was really fun to talk to the people in the ward. The sister had started teaching the kids how to play the piano so I think she was glad to have someone else who can play.

Where do you have to go for church?
Does the BYU center have hymn books and a piano so you can practice? It seems that the more east you are the less people who play the piano... just think of me in primary! I'm excited about your ward too.
congratulations on the new calling... and clearly getting there on time ;o)
