Today I had all three of my classes. And I still managed to complete a walk through the city and make back to the center for kitchen duty I was really impressed.
I took a walk called the Scholars walk. It took us by the British Museum, University of London, British Library, King’s Cross Station, Foundling Museum, and Charles Dickens’s house. It was really neat because I have already seen about half of these things and the other places I have walked by and didn’t really know they existed. The university of London was cool because we went and visited Jeremy Bentham. He is a famous economist who wanted his bones saved and his body put in his classroom. It was pretty crazy. I guess his skull wouldn’t stay on so his head is a wax copy. It looks real. We got lost at the end because the written instruction didn’t match the map so we didn’t have time to go to the Foundling Museum. This was the first orphanage setup in London.
I traded kitchen duty with someone and Ashley’s mom took us out to dinner. We had a great time at dinner. The bathrooms were really cool at this restaurant. You couldn’t see where the doors stop and start. The only thing marking the bathroom is a guy’s shoe and and high-heel. After dinner we watched the Christmas lights turn on for the first time it was really exciting.
Then after dinner we saw the longest running play in London—Mouse Trap. I’m not sure how I feel about the ending. I figured it out towards the end.

Oh my goodness! I'm soo jealous that you got to see Mousetrap. Agatha Christie is one of my favorite writers. I don't know that I would like the wet and rainy-ness though.
