Today was a really fun day. First we went to Notre Dame Cathedral. The bell was closed so I was really sad about that but we still could see the gargoyles. Then we headed to St. Chapelle it is a really small church only one room but I loved it. The stain glass in the that one room is spectacular. The room is also painted like cathedral would have been. It makes the room a little less gloomy. Then we went to the Latin Quarter and ate lunch it was delicious. We got amazing chocolate Crepes and then gelato that they put in a cone in the shape of a flower. This description might sound confusing but please look at the picture to the left for a visual representation. After the flowers we wondered to the Pantheon (not to be confused with the real Pantheon) this is a church where a lot of famous people are buried. For example Victor Hugo, Marie Currie, Voltaire, Rousseau, and Alexander Dumas. There were some really cool statues outside also. Then we headed to the Pompidou Center of Modern Art. I didn’t really like the art here that much but the building is really neat. It’s a great place to hold the modern art it exhibits.
That night we went on a boat ride as a group down the Seine.
