Today was museum day and it was amazing. We started at the Louvre. We got there before it opened and went to the Mona Lisa first. Mom I got the picture. In 7th grade I got this picture with my sisters where I kind of look like the Mona Lisa so my mom calls me Mona Lisa sometimes I got a really good picture in front of it. Then we wondered through the Italian Renaissance painters. After that we headed the Northern painters. I saw two rooms full of Rembrandt paintings I didn’t want to leave. I also so Hans Holbien, Anthony Van Eyck, Van Dyck, Peter Paul Rubens, Claude Lorrain, Poussin, and lots of other people I liked. I really enjoyed going through the Rococo paintings also. Then we walked through the park in front of the Lourve and ate food. Rebecca started feeding the birds. Then we went to the Orangerie where we saw Monet water lilies. It was so exciting. The room is completely white with four water lilies that take up the entire. There were also a lot of Renior paintings. I wanted my family there with me a lot. Mom, Dee, and Brooke my dream is to one day sit in that room with you. Then we walked across a really cool bridge and went to the Musee d’Orssay. This also had a lot of impressionists paintings. But by the time I was getting a little tired we took an hour break and headed back to the Lourve because it was opened late. This time we went through the sculptures. But my favorite part was Code of Hammurabi the first written law. We also saw some cool mummies. After that we went through the Napoleon Apartments. I have never seen anything so decorated in my life it was crazy. The chandelier is the biggest one I have seen in Europe.
