It was a really busy day. I wrote a paper for my history class before class.
After class I tried to resolve the problem with my ticket but it didn’t work. It is almost impossible to place a local call here. The center phones don’t allow us to call outside and the pay phones charge you a way too much especially if you are put on hold for a long time.
So I finally gave up and decided to go to some museums for my humanities.
I went to the Sir. John Sloane Museum. I had never been to this museum before. They only allow fifty people inside the museum at a time. We had to wait for a long time but it was well worth it. Basically after this art collector died he said that he didn’t want anything in his house moved. Its this massive five story art museum. You have to check you bags because you would knock something over if you didn’t. I could not believe the amount of stuff he has crammed in there. The paintings we looked out were on these moving walls. I really enjoyed going here.
Then I also went to the Wallace Collection. I have already been here. However I got to go to different rooms. This museum is in an old palace like building. The decorating in these new rooms was amazing. The wall paper was beautiful. I really liked the interior.
I hurried home to eat dinner. Grabbed a few things for the Ireland trip and packed. I also practiced the piano for the primary program I need to play for on Sunday
