Well today we hit the classes again. I had my history class which I love so much. I just might have to become a history major. Then humanities; I love studying paintings. It is so cool becuase we talk about paintings we've just seen in the National Gallery or other museums. We had to do a little bit of literature which wasn’t so much fun. I'm really lucky. Then I had English. I have been having a hard time with this because I’m not a poetry person. But I actually made a comment and it made sense.
After class I left and did a city walk. Maren--I saw that building you told me your Dad liked. It was really cool because it's across the street from the Grehkin. If you don’t remember the Grehkin is a pickle and its this really big building that you can see like everywhere in London. We also got a little lost and ended up at St. Paul’s which was really okay with me because it is my favorite building to look at so far. We got back on track and then stopped and had cookies at Ben’s. They were delicious. They have three or four of these in England. One of them was in Oxford. We also walked through the area where the Great Fire of 1666 started. They have a monument there called….Monument. I thought it was a really creative name. Its under renovation right now so its covered by a scaffolding which was lame. We also walked along the Thames for a while. I hadn’t really walked on that side of the Thames so it was really nice to look at London from a different angle.
After dinner we went to the Opera Barbra of Savile. We got student tickets for really inexpensive. It was an opera so I got to get all dressed up but I didn’t take a picture. I should have. Mom I wore my red high heels and I actually walked pretty well in them. Thanks for the shoes they make me really happy. The opera was really neat. I don’t think I had ever really been to an opera. It was actually in English which was nice because you knew what was going on. The first half was really long and a little dull. But the last half was very funny and really enjoyable. I wonder if I was just tired for the first half? Anyway, its about a man that falls in love with a girl and of course her ward will not allow them to get married so he sneaks into the house dressed up as different people. It was really funny.

One of Josh's office buildings was right by the Gherkin (or I guess in America, you would call it a pickle.) It really is a cool looking building.
Lloyd's of London! It is such a cool building and I love that it is right by Leadenhall Market the old by the new is so cool! PS just out of Leadenhall Market around the corner is supposed to be the location of The Leakey Calderon in the Harry Potter Movies. There is nothing really there but that is the path they take to get there in the 1st movie.
