Today I finally got to go inside St. Paul’s. It was really amazing. It’s a lot less crowded than Westminster. Christopher Wren, John Donne, and the Duke of Wellington are all buried there. You can also walk up to the top of St. Paul’s it 571 steps and the view was amazing. One of the stopping areas is called the whispering gallery. You can talk into the wall on one side of the room and hear it on the other side of the wall. It was really neat to see how the acoustics worked. The view is amazing at the very top. London is so big. You can’t really see where the city stops. The ceilings are done in mosaics which are gilded in gold so they sparkle.

I ran home to furiously study for the four papers and test due this week.

Then I went to see the ballet Swan Lake. This made me miss dancing so much. The dancers make the art seem so simple and easy. The music was equally enjoyable. There are multiple parts where the harp is the soloist with the Swan dancing. It made me think of home. I miss hearing Brooke’s harp.
